Meet Damien

Practice Manager | Dr Raymond Platon & Associates, Wetherill Park

Damien plays a central role at Dr Raymond Platon & Associates in Wetherill Park. He ensures the dental clinic runs efficiently and every patient feels welcome. Since joining the team in 2016, he has shown organisation, leadership, and compassion in supporting both patients and staff.

He began his dental career as an assistant and later trained as a dental technician. Later, he qualified as a dental prosthetist, which gave him a deep understanding of clinical care and patient needs.

Drawing on his management experience from France, Damien now coordinates the day-to-day operations. He also supports the team to maintain a calm and professional environment. Because he values open communication and teamwork, he always takes time to listen and respond with empathy.

Damien enjoys the strong sense of community within the clinic. Additionally, he loves seeing patients return with confidence in their smiles. Outside of work, he often travels between France and Australia. He also enjoys fine dining and takes every opportunity to create meaningful experiences.

Meet Reema

Dental Assistant & Receptionist | Dentist Wetherill Park Support Team

Reema is a key member of the dentist Wetherill Park support team, bringing warmth, skill, and professionalism to her dual role. With more than eighteen years of dental experience, she brings warmth, skill, and professionalism to her dual role as dental nurse and receptionist. Each day, she assists our dentists during procedures and manages sterilisation and preparation. As a result, the front desk runs smoothly, and every patient’s visit feels efficient and welcoming.

After completing her Certificate III in Dental Assisting at Westmead Hospital, Reema continues to expand her knowledge. She regularly undertakes training in infection control, CPR, and professional development workshops. Because of this, she believes calm communication and empathy truly make a difference, especially for patients who feel nervous about dental treatment.

Fluent in English, Assyrian, and some Arabic, Reema enjoys caring for families across the community. In addition, she values the opportunity to help every patient feel comfortable and understood. Outside work, she spends time with her children, goes for walks, and listens to music to relax and recharge.

Meet Sawsan

Receptionist | Wetherill Park Dental Team

Sawsan is one of the welcoming voices and smiles that patients first encounter at Dr Raymond Platon & Associates. With more than fifteen years of experience in dentistry, she brings knowledge, empathy, and professionalism to every interaction. After completing her Certificate III in Dental Nursing at TAFE NSW, she discovered a passion for patient care through excellent communication and support.

Known for her active listening and reassuring manner, Sawsan helps nervous or first-time visitors feel comfortable as soon as they arrive. She enjoys meeting new people and believes that kindness, patience, and clear communication can make each appointment positive and stress-free.

In addition, Sawsan is fluent in English, Chaldean, and Arabic. She enjoys connecting with families from many backgrounds across Wetherill Park and nearby suburbs. In addition, she values being part of a close, supportive team and feels proud to contribute to a community-focused clinic. Outside work, she loves spending time with her family and exploring her creative interests.

Meet Nada

Receptionist | Dental Support Team in Wetherill Park

Nada is one of the warm and familiar faces that patients love seeing at Dr Raymond Platon & Associates. With more than thirty years of experience in dentistry and administration, she brings deep knowledge and genuine care to every interaction. After completing her secretarial and computer courses at a Sydney college, she began working in reception. Soon after, she developed a strong interest in dentistry and patient care.

Nada believes in treating every patient with respect and empathy. As a result, she ensures they understand their treatment plans and feel involved in every step. She enjoys helping patients who arrive in discomfort leave with a smile, especially after cosmetic or restorative treatments.

Also, Nada is fluent in Croatian and takes pride in supporting Wetherill Park’s diverse community. She creates a friendly, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the door. Outside work, she enjoys gardening, walking, listening to music, watching soccer, and spending time with her family. Her kindness, professionalism, and bright personality make her a valued part of the team.

Nora is one of the longest-serving members of the dental team in Wetherill Park. With more than twenty years of dedication and warmth, she brings exceptional experience and care to her role as a Dental Assistant. After completing her Certificate III in Business Office Administration at TAFE Sydney, she built a strong foundation in patient support and clinical care. That commitment continues to shine every day.

Nora believes clear communication and empathy are essential to excellent dentistry. Because of this, she always ensures every patient feels comfortable, understood, and informed during their visit. Moreover, she actively supports the dentists during procedures to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. When assisting with treatment or offering calm reassurance to anxious patients, her caring nature helps create a relaxed and positive atmosphere.

In addition, Nora is fluent in Assyrian, Arabic, and conversational Turkish and Kurdish. She enjoys connecting with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. She also values being part of a supportive, community-focused team in Wetherill Park. Outside work, she enjoys dancing, shopping, and spending time with her family, which keeps her happy and energised.

Reeta is a dedicated member of Dr Raymond Platon & Associates, known for her friendly nature and gentle approach with patients. With more than two years of experience in dentistry, she therefore brings a unique blend of precision, professionalism, and compassion to her role as a Dental Assistant.

Reeta focuses on clear communication and attentive listening so that every patient feels informed and at ease. She enjoys explaining treatment steps in simple terms, helping both adults and children overcome fear and anxiety during their visits. Because she understands that small gestures can make a big difference, Reeta always takes the time to listen and reassure each patient. Fluent in Assyrian and a little Arabic, Reeta loves connecting with patients from different backgrounds and providing care that feels personal and reassuring.

Moreover, she values the welcoming atmosphere of Wetherill Park and feels proud to work alongside a supportive team and caring patients. Outside work, she also enjoys watching the footy, spending time with family, and planning her next holiday.

Madlin

Dental Assistant | Wetherill Park Dental Support Team

Madlin is an experienced Dental Assistant with more than twenty-seven years in healthcare. During her career, she has gained extensive experience at Sydney Dental Hospital and Randwick TAFE. She holds Certificates III and IV in Dental Assisting, infection control, and practice management, as well as additional training in small-group education and working with children.

Known for her calm and caring nature, Madlin greets every patient with warmth and reassurance, helping them feel at ease throughout their visit. She also enjoys assisting with orthodontic and crown procedures, where she can combine technical precision with compassionate patient care. In addition, she always takes the time to explain each step clearly so patients feel confident and informed. Therefore, her clear communication and gentle approach make each appointment a positive and comfortable experience.

Fluent in Assyrian and Arabic, Madlin values the strong sense of community in Wetherill Park and enjoys getting to know patients and their families over time. Outside work, she loves listening to music, watching history programs, playing tennis, and swimming.
